IC 1396
At about 3 degrees across, IC 1396 is one of the larger nebulae in the northern skies, but is well captured by the wide field of TL's SPA-1 Takahashi refractor. The nebula is known for its 'elephant trunk' feature, dangling down from the 12 o'clock position in this narrow-band, 'Hubble palette' image
