Elephants Trunk Nebula SHO SPA-3
Located in the constellation Cepheus at a distance of 2,400 light-years lies the Elephant's Trunk Nebula (IC 1396). The Elephant's Trunk, itself, is a dark dense globule and the surrounding gas and dust is a star forming region.
