IC2948 Core of the Running Chicken
IC2948, also known as the Running Chicken Nebula, is a bright emission nebula that is home to several "Bok Globules" which are concentrated small dark nebulae consisting of mostly hydrogen and helium gases. This image was created using several one click observations totaling around 4hrs of integration time.
