This is an image of M63, also known as NGC 5055 or the Sunflower Galaxy. It is a spiral galaxy about 0 million light years away in the constellation Canes Venatici. It is a flocculent (meaning fluffy) galaxy which means it does not have well defined spiral arms but ha arms that are patchy and discontinuous. It is about 98,000 light years in diameter which is about the same size as our Milkyway Galaxy.
