California nebula [ngc1499]

A popular emission nebula located in Perseus. Imaged using HOS filters, but the nebula has a relatively weak OIII signal. The image uses data from the 2 Observation bundles that are available.

This was my first adventure using APP to combine data sets. Despite not being too sure what the best parameters to use were, it fortunately appears to be a fairly forgiving piece of software.

Given some disparity between the image resolutions and fields of view, I'm reasonably happy with the result.
