SOUTHERN PINWHEEL GALAXY

The "Southern Pinwheel Galaxy" is a barred spiral galaxy located approximately 15 million light-years from the Milky Way in the direction of the constellation Hydra. Most of the stars located on the spiral arms of galaxy are young, which is why their color tends to be blue.
