LMC N44
LMC N44 is an emission nebula with superbubble structure located in the Large Magellanic Cloud, a satellite galaxy of the Milky Way in the constellation Dorado. It is approximately 1,000 light-years wide and 160,000-170,000 light-years distant.
(NGC 1929 is an open cluster associated with N44)
Image was acquired with CHI-1 (Planewave CDK24). Data from 6 one click observations
Total integration time: 360 minutes
