HSO-image of NGC 3199, an emission nebula in the constellation Carina and also known as the Banana Nebula. It is a bow shock around the central star, WR 18, an especially hot and especially luminous Wolf–Rayet star.
This image was acquired with CHI-1 (Planewave CDK24), data from 4 one click observations.
Total integration time 240 minutes
8 subs of 600s with each narrowband filter (H-alpha, SII & OIII).
