It's ALWAYS nerve-wracking waiting for professional photos to come in - and I bet nebulae are no exceptions!
The Carina Nebula is one of the five bodies that will be the subject of the first full-color images from the James Webb Space Telescope, being released on 12 July!
This inspired me to make a new composite image of the Carina Nebula, from Telescope Live data!
Recorded on 27 May 2021, processed as HSO, using APP and BeFunky.
SO EXCITED for the new Webb images!
