M31 - The Andromeda Galaxy
This is an image of M31, also known as the Andromeda Galaxy. It is a spiral galaxy about 2.5 million light years away in the constellation Andromeda. It is about 150,000 light years in diameter, or about 1.5 times the size of the Milky Way.
