Widefield image Iris Nebula
Widefield image of the Iris Nebula (NGC 7023), a bright reflection nebula in the constellation Cepheus. It lies 1,300 light-years away and is six light-years across.
The bright star on the bottom left is Alfirk (Beta Cephei).
There is plenty of dark interstellar dust in this area (dark nebulae)...

Total integration time 180 minutes.
