This is a Telescope Live dataset
I'm a big fan of the CHI-1 OTA in Telescope live. It is a Planewave CDK and it turns out some of the best quality dataset in the TL inventory and does so consistently.
This is a LRGB dataset and all processing was in PixInsight. My worflow was, after integration with the WeightedBatchProcessing script, was to apply Gradient correction to each of the masters to eliminate the gradient that existed from left to right Channel Combination tool to create the RGB image.
I used SPCC to color correct the RGB image, the BXT to both the RGB and Lum image.
I applied the SXT tool to the Lum and RGB sub to create the Stars and Starless base images that would be the basis of the rest post processing.
I stretched the RGB Stars image with the Histogram tool, increased the saturation and applied Bill Blankenship's modified SCNR tools script to eliminate the green stars. That was saved as my "Stars" image for later recombination with the Starless image.
I stretched the starless versions of the Lum and RGB sub with Bill Blankenship's PixelMath stretch tools/script. Then applied a mix of HDR and Curves tool to create a Lum_Mask for later application to the finished RGB image, the final touch being application of the NXT tool to the L_Mask.
